Example descriptions

You have a strategy in your head. You trade it every day. You have never seen it tested.

How it works

From how you trade to a tested strategy.

01

Describe it your way

Type it, say it, or drop in a chart screenshot. The words you already use are enough.

02

See it as rules on a chart

Everest turns your description into clear rules and marks them on real candles. If anything looks off, you fix it before anything runs.

03

Run the backtest

Everest runs your rules over years of data on its own. You get the full picture: how often it wins, what an average trade is worth, and how rough it gets along the way.

04

Optimize it

Everest shows where your strategy struggled and proposes a change. Test it, and see both versions side by side.

FAQ

Questions traders ask.

What is backtesting a trading strategy?
Backtesting runs the rules of a strategy over historical price data to see how it would have performed. It shows how often it hit target, how much it made or lost per trade, and how deep and long its losing stretches were.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You describe your strategy in plain words, by text, voice or a chart screenshot. Everest turns it into rules and shows them on a chart for you to check.
Is the backtest automatic?
Yes. Once you confirm your rules, Everest runs the backtest on its own. There is nothing to set up.
What if Everest gets my strategy wrong?
You see it before anything runs. Everest shows your rules on a chart, and if something is off, you tell it what to change. The backtest starts only after you confirm it's your strategy.
What is included for free?
One backtest, plus three optimization runs on it.
What happens to my strategy?
It stays in your account. You can delete it, download your data, or delete your account at any time.
Does Everest place trades for me?
No. Everest tests your strategy on past data. What you trade is always your call.
Is this investment advice?
No. A backtest shows how a set of rules performed on past data. It is not a recommendation and it does not predict future results.
